Rajesh Sethi
Rajesh Sethi is the Founder and CEO of Bloomchemag Private Limited, headquartered in New Delhi area, India and the Director and General Manager of Bloomchemag BV, operating from Mol, Belgium. He incubated the highly successful start-up company BloomchemAG in 2013 at Amity Innovation Incubator, Noida, to work closely with the producers and customers in CRAMS space in Life Sciences sector and Distribution of Specialty Chemicals for the diverse sectors of the economy.
He is a graduate in Veterinary Sciences from Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, India. He began his career in Pharma Sales at Ranbaxy in 1991, but soon left to pursue Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Specialization Package in Agriculture) at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (batch 1994).
Rajesh has a rich experience in Pharma business in the world’s leading organizations like Hoechst Marion Roussel, Sanofi Aventis and Akzo Nobel (Intervet). He gained global experience in sales and product management and was responsible for growing few of well-known Vet Pharma brands in OTC category and livestock Biologicals. He attended Marketing International Workshops at Wiesbaden (GER) and Arnheim (NETH).
His long stint with Jubilant Life sciences Limited from 2002 till early 2013, made him gain deep and rich experience in Industrial Chemicals (Acetyls, Ethanol & Specialty Gases). Rajesh worked as Vice-President & Growth Unit Head (Acetyls), where he was instrumental in various capacity expansions, introduction of new products, setting up of European business apart from developing exports to other regions, which led to Acetyls business growing three-fold. He developed External Manufacturing as a strategic tool to gain market share, pioneered several supply chain logistics initiatives to source feedstock globally and derive competitive advantage under challenging market conditions. A perfectionist and a die-hard optimist, Rajesh has a passion for Indian Music.
