Role & responsibilities

Sales / Marketing

i) Identify Prospective customers in the target region, thru cost-effective secondary research, primary research tools, regular communications to understand customer requirements.
ii) Develop best solutions for the prospects, and the most suitable exports logistics
iii) Convert the opportunities into sales and Develop strong relations with customers.
iv) Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales objectives
v) Review the market environment, and take course corrective measures promptly

Analytical

i) Understand detailed Costing for Exports, Imports and Local Distribution to offer customers as per their required delivery modes, Incoterms
ii) Analyze Product-wise Sale, Selling Prices and Trend Analysis
iii) Analyze Variances in Sales Targets, Quantities
iv) Sales Budget Preparation, Sales Performance Review Presentations

Market Research

i) Monitor Competition, Global Trade Flows, Exports-Import Database, Identify Viable Gaps for Bloomchemag in Exports Markets
ii) Analyze Demand-Supply Balances of assigned chemicals and decide sales prices
iii) Business Intelligence (Collect Market Information thru Secondary Research, Subscribed News Databases and Industry Journals & Periodicals)
iv) Tracking Competitors (thru their annual reports, balance sheets, news, other secondary sources)
v) Understand Costing Global and Domestic Prices of Major Raw Materials and Finished Products.
Preferred candidate profile :
  • 1) He/She should be a professional in his work & attitude.
  • 2) Preferably from Chemicals and its auxiliary Industries.
  • 3) A Degree/Diploma in Chemistry/chemical engineering and an MBA degree from reputed institutes or universities,
  • 4) Minimum 1 year of experience in Exports sales and International Business development in overseas markets in Chemicals sector.
  • 5) Exposure to business development/product management in Large Indian/Global companies in Specialty Chemicals
  • 6) Excellent analytical decision making and negotiation skills.
  • 7) He/she will have very strong written and verbal English communication skills,
  • 8) Proven Analytical, Data Analysis Techniques on MS Excel.
