Job Description :
Manager - International Business Logistics (Specialty Chemicals) will be responsible for Imports Clearances in Europe and Onward Distribution within Europe. He/she will be responsible for Providing Focused Logistics Costs Reduction for Domestic and Exports sales of Specialty Chemicals business in Bloomchemag bv. The incumbent will play a key role in the conceptualizing and strengthening end-to-end supply chain solutions for our global suppliers and Customers in domestic and exports.
Candidate Profile
Following are the desired qualifications and attributes of the candidate:
  • A graduate in science discipline from a reputed institute;
  • An MBA from a reputed institute will be necessary;
Age: 30’s
  • Experienced Supply Chain Professional with exposure to International Trading and Logistics Experience in petrochemicals / specialty bulk chemicals /Chemicals industry;
  • Knowledge of Port infrastructure on the West coast of India and Europe for ISO tank bulk-liquids
  • Knowledge of carriers /vessels operating to-and-fro from Indian ports for ISOTANK BULK-LIQUIDS and contacts with all major shipping lines, freight forwarders, CHAs
  • Exposure to Europe Distribution.
  • Sharp Logistics and Finance Acumen – Working knowledge of Costs Estimation, Cash Flow and Inventory Management, Forecasting/Annual Operating Plans;
  • A self starter and a team player, mature individual with strong values;
  • Excellent negotiation skills
Key Responsibilities :
  • Providing Focused Logistics Costs Reduction for Domestic and Exports sales of Specialty Chemicals business
  • Play the lead role in Exports /Imports shipments of our Specialty Chemicals in Bulk ISO Tank containerized sales
  • Liaise with Shipping lines to arrange Imports Clearances in Europe, matching our customers’ desired schedules thru most competitive bulk shipment contracts for Bulk ISO Tank Containerized Exports/Imports of our products Optimization of Demurrages/Detentions at Port
